Manuel Rivera is a passionate advocate and community leader dedicated to addressing homelessness and expanding access to affordable housing in New York City. Throughout his career, he has worked to create housing opportunities for individuals experiencing homelessness while championing policies that support low-income and marginalized communities. In addition to his housing work, Manuel has been a prominent leader within the LGBTQ community, serving as Chairperson of the NYC Black and Latino LGBTQ Coalition and continuing his advocacy through roles with GMHC, where he helps guide programs and elevate community voices.
